OFF TOWN MUSIC was founded by two musicians, Tom Schlueter and Valery Brusilovsky in 2003, after working together for many years in variety of bands and musical projects.

Tom and Valery collaborate with musicians and artists from a range of countries namely Germany, USA, Italy, England, Cuba, Brazil and Russia, for live performance and studio recordings.

All the years of experience allow them to work in different musical genres like Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classic, World Music and Cinematic. OTM focuses in acoustic instrumental recordings and the production of orchestral arrangements.

Tom Schlueter

Born in Goettingen, Germany, Tom began his musical journey with piano lessons in Brussels at the age of 5. From 1982, he pursued classical piano studies in Frankfurt.

In 1986, he embarked on a musical sojourn in Brazil. From 1990 to 1994, Tom played as Musical Director at the "Tigerpalast Varieté Theater" in Frankfurt. In 1995, he became the director of the "Tom Schlueter Band" on the "RTL Night Show" with Thomas Koschwitz. In 1996, Tom took on the role of Musical Director for the rock opera "Tommy".

From 2000 to 2020, Tom played as a pianist for the "hr-Jazzensemble". Additionally, from 2000 to 2010, he held the position of head at the recording studio Off Town Music. Since 2011, Tom has worked as a freelance music and media producer, with notable engagements including projects for MOVE PRODUCTIONS. Throughout his career, Tom has garnered diverse experiences in studios, live performances, and as a music producer, with engagements in Paris, Naples, San Francisco, New York, Montreal, Havana, St. Petersburg, and Moscow.

Tom has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians, including Jermaine Jackson, Chaka Khan, Robert Palmer, Tom Jones, Percy Sledge, Teddy Edwards, Tony Lakatos, the hr-Big Band, and many others.

Valery Brusilovsky

Born in St. Petersburg, Valery began his musical journey at the age of six with his first piano lessons. He later pursued studies in percussion instruments at the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music. Over the years, he embarked on extensive tours and performed at festivals across Russia and Europe with numerous rock and jazz bands.

Since 1991, Valery has resided in Frankfurt. From 1993 to 2000, he played as a drummer in the "Tigerpalast Varieté Orchestra" in Frankfurt. Since 2000, he has worked as a studio musician and producer, collaborating with pianist and producer Tom Schlueter. Together, they have produced numerous music productions for renowned artists and companies, including the No Angels, Natascha Wright (ex-LaBouche), KPMG, Deutsche Leasing, Sat1, HR, RTL, and many others.

Valery's engagements also include musical productions at the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel (productions such as Shockheaded Peter, Sunset Boulevard, La cage aux folles, Saturday Night Fever) and the "New Theatre Frankfurt Höchst", as well as collaborations with Hessischer Rundfunk.
